March 11, No One Loves You Like He Does

ThemeEmbracing God’s Love When You Feel Unworthy

There are moments in life when we feel unworthy of love. Maybe it's because of mistakes we've made in the past, feelings of inadequacy, or the weight of disappointments that seem to define us. In these moments, it's easy to believe that no one could love us, or that we are too broken to be truly loved. I love my husband and I know he loves me. But God’s love is different from anything we can understand or experience on earth.

The Bible tells us that God’s love for us is unconditional, unwavering, and unchanging. In Romans 5:8, it says, "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God's love is not dependent on us being sinless. He doesn't love us because we have earned it, but simply because He is love. We don’t need to strive or perform to be loved by Him; we are loved because He created us and desires to be in a relationship with us.

In John 4:7-10, we read the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. In the cultural context of the time, this woman was considered an outcast. She had a past filled with mistakes and shame, but Jesus approached her, spoke to her, and offered her living water. He saw her worth when others might have turned away. He didn’t look at her past but saw her heart, offering love and grace despite her perceived unworthiness.

The beautiful truth is that Jesus offers the same love to us. No matter what we’ve done, how we feel, or how unworthy we think we are, Jesus sees us, loves us, and offers grace.

WHAT A GOD!

We are never too far gone to be loved by God. He loves us in our brokenness, heals our wounds, and calls us His own.

When you feel unworthy, remember that God’s love is constant. It is not based on your performance or past actions. It is a love that heals, restores, and transforms. Embrace His love today, knowing that it’s freely given, and no one loves you like He does. No one, my sister.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for Your immeasurable love that never changes. In moments when I feel unworthy, remind me of Your truth—that You love me not because of what I’ve done but because of who You are. Help me to embrace Your love and rest in the assurance that I am enough in Your eyes. Heal my heart and help me to walk in the freedom of knowing I am cherished and loved by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
