May 31: Stepping Into June Rooted and Unshaken
By: Dr. Tracey-Ann Trail Key Text : “ The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail .” Isaiah 58:11 (NKJV) Oh, how confidently I relish the promises of Isaiah 58:11 when life is going well. Prayers are answered quickly, doors are opening, and peace comes naturally. In those seasons, the promise of being “like a watered garden” feels real and beautiful. But how quickly that confidence can fade when the season of drought seems endless, and life becomes one battle after another. In those moments, prayers may feel unanswered as we face health struggles, heartbreak, loneliness, financial stress, or simply the exhaustion of carrying too much for too long with no relief in sight.
