There’s a garment woven not by human hands but by the sovereign grace of God. A vibrant coat that marks you as His chosen, beloved child. When doubt whispers that you don’t belong, remember: this coat is not earned by perfection or pedigree. It’s His gift, threaded with mercy and purpose, meant to cover every wound and illuminate every step. As you turn each page of your life, you will discover those threads of grace transforming even the darkest chapters into a tapestry of hope.
I know what it’s like to have nothing to my name, dropping out of high school at fifteen, facing teenage motherhood, and hearing every voice around me say my story was over before it began. Yet in the midst of that wilderness, God quietly began to stitch His favor into every frayed edge of my life.
He opened doors I never saw coming and taught me to fish instead of simply feeding me for a day. As I leaned into His strength, I discovered resilience in my hands, hope in my heart, and peace in my home. My children laugh freely, our table is never empty, and each sunrise brings fresh evidence of His unfailing love. What was meant to crush my spirit, He turned into a living masterpiece of redemption.
So today, wear your coat boldly. Let its brilliant colors proclaim that you are seen, chosen, and equipped for far more than you’ve ever dared to dream. When life’s winds howl around you, stand firm in the promise that God’s transforming favor surrounds you like armor, never to be ripped away.
“For you did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit . . .”John 15:16 (ESV)
Take heart! The Author of your story is writing a legacy that will inspire generations. Your past does not define you; His favor does. Step forward today, embrace your destiny, bless those around you, and watch as God’s vivid colors shine through you, lighting the way for others to find their own coat of many blessings.
I love your analogy and appreciate your openness. Indeed God is the one who has the final say and He makes all things (all coats) beautiful in His time. Be blessed.
ReplyDeleteAmen, my sister. That truly spoke to my heart—a powerful reminder that even when people say no, my God will still say yes. Keep holding on, stay faithful, and trust His unchanging hand every step of the way. I’m walking
