Isaac inherited Abraham’s blessings, yet the Philistines stopped up the wells his father had dug.
Instead of fighting over them, Isaac moved and dug again the wells until he found Rehoboth —
a place of room, peace, and blessing.
Many times, the enemy stops up the wells in our lives — joy, prayer, passion, purpose, vision.
We feel blocked. But like Isaac, we must go back and re-dig what has been buried. Sometimes
revival isn’t about something new God gives us — but reopening what we neglected.
Your “well” might be:
• A prayer life that has grown cold
• A dream God once placed in your heart
• A ministry you abandoned
• A relationship needing healing
God told Isaac, "I am with you.”
When we start digging again, God meets us there.
Sarah used to wake up early to pray and read the Word. Over time, work schedules, exhaustion,
and distractions slowly crowded out her devotion. Days became weeks, and her spiritual hunger
faded. She felt distant, overwhelmed, and wondered why peace seemed missing.
One evening she said, "I should rebuild my connection with Jesus ." She set aside just 10 minutes each morning — small, but intentional. The first days were hard. She felt nothing. But she kept digging. Soon her heart softened, scripture came alive again, and peace returned.
Her well wasn’t restored instantly — but as she kept digging, God filled it again.
Sometimes victory is simply one shovel of obedience at a time.
Reflection Questions
1. What “well” in my life needs reopening?
2. What step of faith can I take today?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to re-dig the wells of blessing in my life. Restore my passion, my faith, and my joy.
Lead me to Rehoboth — the place You have prepared for me. Amen

Amen
