January 31 — Stepping Into February with Confidence

Stepping Into February with Confidence

Key Text: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6

As we step into a new month, it’s easy to carry the weight of doubts, unfinished goals, or past mistakes. But God reminds us through Paul that the work He started in our lives is not abandoned—it is ongoing and purposeful. Every step, every struggle, and every small victory is part of His plan to shape us into the people He created us to be.

Confidence doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges—it means trusting that God is at work even when we can’t see the full picture. We have completed the first month of 2026- WITH GOD!

Say it with me “ I will trust God to take me forward boldly, knowing that He is the same God who started a good work in me and will faithfully continue it.”

My friend Marcia had been out of work for years and felt discouraged. Each day felt like a setback. Yet she reminded herself of God’s promise and kept herself occupied by helping others, trusting that God would give her a breakthrough. New opportunities opened for her, and she found not only employment but also a renewed sense of purpose. Marci’s confidence didn’t come from her circumstances—it came from trusting that God was still at work, even in the waiting.

Reflection:
What areas of your life need a reminder that God is still at work, and how can you step into February with confidence in His plan?

Time to talk to God
Lord, thank You for the work You have begun in my life. Help me to step into this new month with confidence, trusting that You are faithful to complete what You started. Strengthen my heart when I face uncertainty, and remind me that every small step is part of Your greater plan.

Amen.
