March 15 : STRENGTH FOR THE ASSIGNMENT

Strength for the Assignment

The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:13:

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Quite often we are called to take on tasks that are outside of our comfort zone. At first, we may wrestle with understanding the assignment God has placed before us. Like Moses, we may find ourselves offering excuses and questioning our ability. We may feel inadequate or unprepared.

Sometimes the enemy even whispers that we have already failed, that there is no point in trying, and that defeat is inevitable. But the Word of God reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

If you are entering a new season, beginning a new process, stepping into a new job, or launching a new project, trust in God. The same God who called you will strengthen you for the assignment.

Perhaps this season involves a new relationship with someone significant in your life. Perhaps God is rebuilding and restoring the relationship between you and your spouse. When earthly relationships are restored, they often help strengthen our relationship with the One in whom we can truly do all things.

We may not always feel that we have the right tools or the necessary resources. But the One who called us already has everything required for the journey. Our success is not rooted in our own might or strength.

As Scripture reminds us in Zechariah 4:6:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

God does not call the equipped. Often, He equips the called.

So when the assignment feels heavy, remember that the strength does not come from you alone. It comes from Christ. Trust Him. Walk in faith. And know that with Him, you have everything you need for the journey.

So if God has called you into a new season, do not allow fear or doubt to silence your obedience. The assignment may be bigger than you, but it is not bigger than the God who called you. Walk forward in faith, knowing that the One who called you will also strengthen you to complete the work.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the assignments You place in our lives. When we feel uncertain, fearful, or unprepared, remind us that our strength comes from You. Help us to trust Your call, step forward in faith, and rely on Your Spirit rather than our own ability. Strengthen us for every season and every task You have given us.
