April 7: Faith that Moves

"Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain , remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

In a world of turmoil,uncertainty and fear.  Truth and errors crosses path so many times,  that it leaves us in doubt and place us in a state of unbelief. 

However the question may asked ,  how do you moved away from this state of unbelief to a state of belief?

It is the strength of faith that will allow us to overcome our unbelief,  even the most modest amount as a mustard seed, has the potential to enable us to triumph over any obstacles. 

We have to be deliberate in shifting our focus to renew our mind, taking intentional actions to cultivate our faith, removing doubt, knowing that God promises are true !

Because , faith is not "stagnant" faith moves !

Some times when the circumstances of our situations overwhelmed us, we will cry out , like the father with his son , who had a "dumb spirit , " Lord help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24)

It was only when the father cried out, that faith moved, and his son was healed !

It is your moving faith, that moves the heart of God into action. 

"Faith moves ," when Anna knelt down and prayed for a son, although her womb was closed , yet still she received one ! (1Samuel 1: 11 )

"Faith moves, " when Esther stood before the King , not knowing if she would died or lived,  yet still she lived ! ( Esther 5 : 1-3 )

"Faith moves ," when the widow of Zarephath has the last to eat, but  gave from what she did not have , yet still her flour and oil multiply ! (1Kings 17: 10-14 )

"Faith moves, " when I stood in the middle of Duke Street , downtown Kingston,  and cried out; 

" Take this case Lord !" 

Two sons , in two different countries , with two different situations at the same time .

The called came in , as I held the phone to my ear, while I was on my way to visit my son, who was staying at a nursing home .

" Your son as just being locked up by the police!"

An unexpected news that no mother wanted to hear .

With moving faith, I cried out .

 "Lord how can I be in both countries at the same time? Only you can !

Take the one in Canada , while I take care of this one in Jamaica !"

By faith I left the case in God's hand, telling Him, I will called in three days time, and when I called I want to hear my son voice on the other side of the line .

With my confident of faith, I called the third day, and It was my son who answered the call . My moving faith, moves the heart of God, to send an Angel in the form of a stranger, to walked into the police station and released my son, stating that "it was a mistaken identity and he must be released ,because he is innocent!"

At times when the reality of our circumstances faces us, and tends to weaver our faith , be reminded that God promises are the reality for our circumstances that will bring us hope by our faith
!

"For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry." (Ps.34 : 15)

Let's trust God , even when we cannot see His hands.

Your mustard seed faith, will not only moves mountains, but it will moves the heart of God into action, where you will see the manifestation of Him bringing solutions to your situations , because nothing is impossible for the Lord !

Prayer 

Lord may you nurture my faith and help it to grow daily,  so I can keep trusting your promises, and grow more and more in you.

When the circumstances of life comes my way, remind me Lord that you will take me through it, because I know , you will never leave me or forsake me. Amen.
