Nothing Is Impossible with God
Luke 1:37 (KJV)

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."

In 2022, I made a bold decision to return to school amidst the many demands and challenges of life. Balancing work, family responsibilities, health concerns, and academic studies was not easy. What began as an exciting journey soon became overwhelming.

The pressure became so intense that I made the difficult decision to pause my studies for a year. At the time, I simply could not see how I could successfully manage everything that was competing for my attention. The dream was still there, but my strength and motivation had diminished.

As time passed, I thought long and hard about returning to school. Deep within, I knew I wanted to continue, but I lacked the willpower to pick up the books and begin again. The journey seemed too difficult, and the road ahead appeared uncertain.

Then God gently reminded me of where He had brought me from. He reminded me of the obstacles I had already overcome, the doors He had opened, and the accomplishments I had achieved through His strength. In that moment, I realised that this journey was never really about me. It was about the God who walks with me every step of the way.

I was reminded of His promise that nothing is impossible with Him.

With renewed faith, I decided to give it another chance.

Not long after resuming my studies, another challenging season arrived. As I reviewed my course plan, I realised that the most difficult courses were still ahead of me. Once again, feelings of doubt and uncertainty surfaced. Once again, the mountain before me seemed impossible to climb.

But God faithfully reminded me of the same truth: nothing is impossible with Him.

The journey is not yet complete. There are still assignments to finish, deadlines to meet, and challenges to overcome. Yet whenever I begin to feel overwhelmed, I am reminded that the same God who carried me through yesterday will carry me through tomorrow. He sees the future that I cannot see. He illuminates the path that I cannot yet understand. He provides strength for each day and grace for every challenge.

Luke 1:37 is more than a verse; it is a promise that continues to sustain me. It reminds me that success is not dependent solely upon my abilities, but upon the God who empowers me. What seems impossible in my eyes is entirely possible in His hands.

Whatever challenge you may be facing today, remember that God has not brought you this far to leave you. Trust Him with the next step. The God who began the journey is faithful to complete it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that nothing is impossible with You. When I feel overwhelmed by life's challenges, help me to remember Your faithfulness and trust Your plans for my future. Strengthen me when I am weary, encourage me when I am discouraged, and guide me when the path ahead seems unclear. Thank You for walking beside me and for making a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
