WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW THE SONG BUT GOD PLAYS THE RHYTHM Sharon Campbell-Danvers  Key Text-  “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever.”  Psalm 138:8 (NKJV) In November 2025, I had to do a series of tests based on requests from the doctors. One day I went for an appointment and I heard a song in the triage room. It was the first time I was hearing the song and I kept humming the tune for the entire day.  After reaching home I could not remember the words all I could remember was the tune as the phrase “I will wait for You.” I searched YouTube and found the song and man, it was powerful. I played that song repeatedly each day and it gave me a deep assurance that God is with me. Fast forward to a few weeks after, I was booked for an appointment to do a particular test. Before entering the room I was praying earnestly and singing the same song. I told God that I am not afraid but I do not like needles so just take care of that ...

February 2: A Love That Leads

A Love That Leads “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV) Sharon Campbell-Danvers  Recently, we desperately needed someone to iron. The clothes had piled up, and we were truly behind. We even arranged for someone to come, but at the last minute she didn’t show up. Then I heard my husband say he had run out of clean work shirts. Still, I said quietly in my heart, “Lord, You know how I feel about this… but let me do what I can.” I decided to give a few hours and simply serve. When my husband came home and saw what I had accomplished in just a few hours, he was shocked. He said, “I’m going to pay you, because if someone had come, I would have paid them and they wouldn’t have done this much.” He handed me $100. On top of that, he placed a big dragon fruit and a bottle of wine lo...

“Heart Check” Theme: The Heart at the Centre Key Text: Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)  “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Sharon Campbell-Danvers Back home in Jamaica, we had to put grills on every door and window, and more recently, we even added cameras to the house. All of this was done to give us a sense of protection. Yet, even with those measures in place, I still sometimes feel concerned. When I recently went home, seeing all the grills again took some getting used to. I had to keep reminding myself to lock the doors behind me and double-check everything. I was so diligent that it practically stressed me out. Then it made me pause and reflect. What if we devoted the same level of effort, energy, and attention to guarding our hearts? Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)  “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” This verse reminds us that our hearts, our thoughts, emotions, and inner lives shape everything we do. When we ...
